the study of the biological, chemical, and physical features of inland aquatic ecosystems.

Course Introduction

Through the LIMNOLOGY course you will learn about the composition of water, how it behaves in different conditions as well as the water cycle. You will then discover the different types of inland water bodies and study the ecology of lentic (still water) and lotic (fast moving water) environments.
