Navigate the course by selecting the module you are studying, each lesson is laid out on a single page.
The lesson starts with information to read (or use the audio button to listen), following this there will be a video, podcast or website for you to explore for further information.
Next you will move onto a hands on portion, an optional science experiment, printable activity or handicraft. Download the supplies list on each course if you want to take part in these so you have everything on hand. Alternatively there will be a video you can watch of the experiments being conducted.
Finally each lesson ends with some journaling ideas. Use your student notebook to write, draw or record what you have learnt from the lesson. Use the prompts, photographs and printable resources from the lesson to help if you wish. You are in control of your student notebook, so choose which of the prompt ideas you would like to do, or alternatively you can come up with your own way to record something from the lesson.
At the end of the course you will receive a printable certificate of completion as well as a curiosity you can print out to add to your cabinet. You can ask your parents to submit your final notebook pages to our site if you wish them to be included in our completion gallery.
