Fiddlesticks Education CurriculumsHere at fiddlesticks education I am passionate about bringing you comprehensive curricula that combines immersive literature and beautiful learning resources. While you can dip in and out of any of my packs and use them to supplement other curriculums your family already uses, on this page you can learn more about the complete studies I offer if you are looking for an all in one package.
From 2023 onwards I am changing the way I bring you curriculum, I will release complete packs on a topic, with complimenting themes for all three age ranges (playful, living and immersive), so that if you have children of multiple ages they can be studying the same topics at appropriate levels. More information on available releases will be added as they are ready. Playful Education (Ages 2-6)My playful education packs will be based around a lovingly illustrated picture book aimed at early years children. Each will include hands on fun play activities and printables that tie in to the theme of the book and extend the children's learning to cover a range of literacy, numeracy topics as well as develop their understanding of the world around them.
Living Education (Ages 6-12)Each living education topic will include a fully illustrated basic chapter book, a selection of science/history based printable activities and a learning guide full of journaling ideas, science experiments, handicrafts and other themed activities to fully bring the subject matter to life.
Immersive Education (Ages 12+)Our soon to be released immersive education topics will put your older children into the role of investigator, honing their critical thinking skills and helping them develop an understanding of using evidence to support their theories. Whether its working out the impact of Eco-tourism on the environment or solving ancient mysteries your children will be presented with a portfolio containing several packs of evidence, letters, documents and more to help them discuss and explore the questions posed to them and make informed decisions, this focuses on helping children asses evidence and make conclusions, as well as understanding that in reality there is often no correct answer to a problem.
